Refurbishment & Fit-Out, Crouch Hill Day Nursery

Wise Facilities Maintenance & Compliance were appointed to refurbish this quiescent D1 nursery building in Islington, London which was slowly falling into disrepair and whilst not in use, the property was not providing any income or return on investment for the client.

OVERVIEW

Wise Facilities Maintenance & Compliance were appointed by Asquith Day Nurseries to refurbish the building’s interior and to renovate the external area to ensure that the nursery building reflected the Asquith design concept and met its high standards for safety and security. 

WORK WE DID

• Electrical safety compliance inspection, testing, recommendations and repairs.
• Installation of new secure door entry system.
• Commercial painting of all rooms.
• Supply and fit of new hard surface safety flooring throughout building.
• Supply and fit of under floor heating.
• Supply and fit of LED sensory lighting feature.
• Installation of new data and communications network.
• Utilise space to create essential office.
• Installation of internal and external CCTV security system.
• Supply and fit of kitchen cabinets to all primary rooms with hand wash facility.
• Installation of bespoke nappy changing areas.
• New staff toilets and kitchen.
• Supply and fit of a new food prep kitchen with commercial appliances.
• Installation of Astro-turf in external area.

Wise Facilities Maintenance & Compliance delivered this project to a high standard in accordance with the clients’ brief and within the agreed target completion date. The property was handed back to a satisfied client ready for its planned open day.
